Paul Bonvillain, 86, a native and resident of Terrebonne Parish, La., died Monday, Aug. 24.


He is survived by his brother, Earnest “Mannie” Bonvillain of Houma, La.


He was preceded in death by his parents, Earnest Ellis Bonvillain and Mary Magdelan Pitre Bonvillain; six brothers, Reuben Bonvillain, Irvin Bonvillain, Columbus Bonvillain, Donald Bonvillain, Wilbert Bonvillain and Hayes Louis Bonvillain; and two sisters, Mary Magdelan LeBouef and Dorothy Mae Breaux.

He was Catholic and a parishioner of Our Lady of the Most Holy Rosary Catholic Church.

Visitation will be 5 p.m. to 9 p.m. Tuesday, Aug. 25, at Chauvin Funeral Home, and 9 a.m. to 11 a.m. Wednesday, Aug. 26, at Our Lady of the Most Holy Rosary Catholic Church. A Mass of Christian Burial will be at 11 a.m. Wednesday at the church with burial at Our Lady of the Most Holy Rosary Cemetery.

Chauvin Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.
