Paul Pierre

Paul “Don” Pierre, age 51, passed away on Sunday, March 11, 2018 surrounded by his loving family. He was a longtime resident of Houma.

Relatives and friends of the family are invited to attend the visitation from the Magnolia Chapel at Chauvin Funeral Home on Wednesday, March 14, 2018 beginning at 5:00 p.m. until 9:00 p.m. Visitation will resume on Thursday beginning at 9:00 a.m. until the Funeral Service at 11:00 a.m. Brother Irby and Brother Jared Fitch will officiate the service and burial will follow in Garden of Memories Cemetery.

Don is survived by his mother, Virginia Fitch and father, Irvin Pierre, Jr.; longtime companion, Juliana Billiot; brothers, Scottie Pierre and wife Rhonda, Ron Pierre and wife Michelle, Chad Pierre and wife April, Bobby Pierre and wife Teresa, Jeremy Pierre, and Jack Pierre; grandfather, Vincent Bergeron; Don is also survived by numerous nieces, and nephews that he loved dearly.

Don is preceded in death by his maternal grandparents, Charlie, Sr., and Edwina Fitch; paternal grandfather, Irvin Pierre, Sr.; paternal grandmother, Aline Bergeron; and numerous aunts, uncles, and cousins.

Don was a loving son, brother, uncle, and friend. Don loved his family and saw his nieces and nephews like his own children. He enjoyed family gathering and spending time with them. Don always had a good attitude and would call or text everyone to let them know he loved them. He was a very compassionate man and would help anyone. Anyone who knew Don, knew he was a jokester and would pick on his family for fun. Everyone will dearly miss Don. God has certainly gained another angel in Heaven.

Pallbearers will be Derek Verdin, Tyler Pierre, Aaron Pierre, Austin Pierre, Damian Pierre, Kalob Pierre, Jeremy Pierre, and Chris Rhodes.
