Paula Marie “Sunshine” Morace Winter, 50, a native of Alexandria, La., and a resident of Houma, La., died Thursday, October 2.
She is survived by her father and stepmother, Pete Morace and Karen Morace of Houma; her companion, Donald Jewell of Houma; four sons, Duane Pellegrin of Lafayette, La., Ben Pellegrin of Houston, Tx., Wayne Winter Jr. and wife Sandy and Jesse Winter of Houma; one daughter, Kathy Winter of Chackbay, La.; two sisters, Kathy Morace and Theresa Oden of Alabama; and 14 grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Earl Thomas; her mother, Doris Dupuy Morace; and one brother, Henry David Morace.
She was a hot-shot driver.
A graveside service will be at 11 a.m. Monday, October 6, at Forest Lawn Memorial Park Cemetery in Ball, La.
Chauvin Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.
