February 8, 2010Paulin Joseph Champagne, 97, a native and resident of Raceland, La., died Wednesday, Jan. 13, 2010.
He is survived by his son, Gene (Kathryn) Champagne; daughters, Pauline (Harold) Dufrene, Sylvia Champagne and Marguerite (John) Bergeron; 13 grandchildren and 25 great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Anicia Madelyn Rodrigue; parents, Camile and Azelia Baudoin Champagne; daughter, Betty Champagne; brothers, Albert, Joseph, Olizee, Paul, Olezime, Alcest and Eugene Champagne; and sisters, Angelia Babin, Louise Verdun, Georgina Foret and Marie Champagne.
She is buried at St. Mary’s Catholic Church Cemetery.
Falgout Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
