Pauline D. Hingle, 95, a native of Buras, La., and a resident of Cut Off, La., died Wednesday, May 6, at 1:35 a.m.


She is survived by her daughters, Joyce Bouvier and husband Irwin, and Eula Mae Dardar; nine grandchildren; 15 great-grandchildren; and two great-great-grandchildren.


She was preceded in death by her husband, Abner Hingle; father, Joseph Dardar; foster mother Sylvinia Duplessis; and sons-in-law, Rousseau Dardar Sr. and Lindbergh Sanamo.

She was Catholic and a parishioner of Sacred Heart Catholic Church. She was also a homemaker and a devoted mother and grandmother.

Visitation will be 10 a.m. to 12 p.m. Friday, May 8, at Sacred Heart Catholic Church with Mass of Christian Burial to follow. Burial will be at Dardar Cemetery.

Samart-Mothe Funeral Home in Cut Off is in charge of the arrangements.
