Pearl Agnes Legendre McCarty, 74, a native and resident of Houma, Louisiana, died at 11:45 a.m. June 29, 2014.
Mrs. McCarty was a parishioner of St. Francis de Sales Cathedral. A loving wife and mother, she always wanted to help others and always had a smile on her face. And, although she was not a member, she enjoyed attending Krewe of Aphrodite functions and being with everyone.
She is survived by her husband of 47 years, Walter “Dennis” McCarty; daughter, Denise R. McCarty; sisters, Jeanette (Norman) Simon, Clarisse Legendre and Rita Legendre.
Her parents, Alfred and Wildred Breaux Legendre, preceded her in death.
Donations to St Francis De Sales Cathedral Church, or St. Francis School in her memory are appreciated.
Burial is at St. Francis de Sales Cemetery No. 2.
