Graham Frank, 5, of Houma, wasn’t deterred by a blown transformer at Books-A-Million Friday night. The young boy and his mother, Regina, waited among the faithful for 12:01 a.m. when the seventh – and final – book in the popular J.K. Rowling’s "Harry Potter" series went on sale. Dressed as a young Harry, Graham was more interested in the costume contest than actually reading the book. In fact, Regina Frank said, "Mom gets dibs on the book." Phyllis Ann Dufrene, 49, a native of Raceland and resident of Marrero, died Wednesday, July 4, 2007, at 5:00 a.m.
She is survived by four sons, Joshua Paul and Willie Joseph Bellenger, Terry Joseph Caramonta, and Tray Joseph Caramonta; one daughter, Tasha Faye Caramonta; one brother, Daniel Dufrene; one sister, Lana Dufrene; and eight grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Hartward and Leona Matherne Dufrene.
Phyllis was a devout Catholic, a loving mother and grandmother.
Funeral services will be Saturday, July 21, 2007, at 9:00 a.m. at St. Anthony Catholic Church in Gheens, La.
Falgout Funeral Home of Raceland is in charge of the arrangements.
