Quentin J. McGuin, 47, a native of Terrebonne Parish, La., and resident of Gray, La., died Thursday, June 9, 2011.
Mr. McGuin was a member of Beautiful Zion Baptist Church. He was a brick layer and chef at Voodoo Bar-B-Que Restaurant.
He is survived by his companion, Mary Vincent; parents, Gilbert McGuin and Emelda Stringer; son, Xavier Vincent; daughters, Giwanna Aubert, LaToya Vincent and Jacquetta Nixon; brothers, Joshua Hayes, Glenn and Steve Picou; sisters, Felicia Richards, Cassandra Cooks, Sybil Douglas, Elisha Kirk and Schwanda McGuin; and nine grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his son, Adama Vincent. (Community)
