Residents raising a stink brings results on sewage odor

Randy J. Billiot, 49, a native and resident of Golden Meadow, La., died at 11:59 p.m. Saturday, July 23, 2011.
He is survived by his father, Roy Billiot Sr.; stepmother, Elma Billiot; and stepfather, Gabriel Verdin; son, Randell Billiot; daughters, Jamie Fabre and Tasha and Nikki Billiot; brothers, Randineo, Roy Jr., Rowdy, Ralston and Rinald Billiot; sisters, Ramara and Raquel Billiot, Grace Verdin, Capesine Messer, Rhoda Smith and Rhonda Foster; and ten grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his mother, Rema Verdin; daughter, Olivia Gauthier; and one grandchild.
In lieu of flowers, the family would appreciate donations toward funeral expenses.
Visitation will be 5 p.m. to 10 p.m. Wednesday, July 27 and 8 a.m. to 10:30 a.m. Thursday, July 28 at Falgout Funeral Home in Galliano, La. The funeral service will be at 11 a.m. Thursday at Our Lady of Prompt Succor Catholic Church in Golden Meadow with burial at Serigny Cemetery in Golden Meadow. (Falgout)
