Raquel Barrios, 37, a native of Bryan, Tx., and resident of Galliano, La., died Sunday, May 10, at 10:25 p.m.
She is survived by her parents, Daniel Sr. and Sally Barrios, and Billie Joe Gibson; one daughter, Talesha Cheramie; one brother, Daniel Barrios II of Larose; and three sisters, Loretta Reese of Rockport, Ill., Michelle Caine of Galliano and Billie Faye Vizier of Larose.
She loved playing all sports especially basketball, and she was a member of Christian Fellowship Church.
Visitation will be 8 a.m. to 12 p.m. Thursday, May 14, at Christian Fellowship Church with Mass of Christian Burial to follow. Burial will be at Sacred Heart Catholic Cemetery.
Samart-Mothe Funeral Home of Raceland is in charge of arrangements.
