Freshman earns her way into starting lineup

Remigius Coogen, a native of Lockport, La., and a resident of Mathews, La., died Tuesday, February 3, at 2:40 p.m.
She is survived by her sons, Michael A. Coogen Sr. and Drake Hathaway; and three grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Jack L. Coogen; parents, William and Diane Ledet; brothers, Emile Ledet Sr.; and sisters, Lorina Bernard and Earline Dufrene.
She was a parishioner of Holy Savior Catholic Church in Lockport.
Visitation will be 6 p.m. to 10 p.m. Friday, February 6, and 8 a.m. to 1 p.m. Saturday, February 7, at Falgout Funeral Home. Mass will be at 1 p.m. Saturday at Holy Savior Catholic Church with burial at the church cemetery.
Falgout Funeral Home of Lockport is in charge of the arrangements.
