Benjamin joins CIS surgical staff

Rev. Edward “Sonny” Hebert, 72, a native of Cut Off, La., and a resident of Golden Meadow, La., died Saturday, April 19.
He is survived by his wife, Anna Cheramie Hebert; sons, Rev. Simon Hebert and wife Wanda, Dan Hebert and wife Tonia, Ronnie Hebert and wife Starr and Aaron Prestenbach; daughters, Cynthia “Cindy” Mill and husband Lee and Elizabeth “Liz” Rose and husband Ernest; 15 grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Alidor Hebert Sr. and Alida Cantrelle Hebert; brothers, Albert, Alidor Jr., Onizime and Warren Hebert; and sisters, Martha Hebert and Margie Guilbeau.
Visitation will be 6 p.m. to 10 p.m. Tuesday, April 22, at Falgout Funeral Home in Galliano, La., and 9 a.m. to 11 a.m. Wednesday, April 23, at the Lighthouse Worship Center in Galliano, with a religious service to follow. He will be buried at Cheramie Cemetery in Galliano.
Falgout Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.
