Richard L. “Dickie” Borne, 70, a native and resident of Chackbay, LA., died at 4:50 a.m. Friday, March 9, 2007.
Visitation will be from 6 to 9 p.m. Sunday and from 8:30 a.m. to funeral time Monday at Our Lady of Prompt Succor Catholic Church in Chackbay. Mass will be held at 11 a.m. Monday at the church, with burial in the church cemetery.
He is survived by his wife, Jan Borne; three daughters, Lisa Cabrera, Lynne Gravois and husband, Todd, and Laura Adams and husband, Stephen; one brother, John Stanley Borne; one sister, Sylvia Borne Brock; and four grandchildren, Aimee Cabrera, Alicia Gravois and Michael and Matthew Adams.
He was preceded in death by his parents, John L. Borne and Jeanne Nicholas Borne.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations can be made to Cure P.S.P. or St. Joseph Hospice.
Thibodaux Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
