EPA/BP say oily solid waste is not hazardous

Richard B. “Ritchie” Mejia Jr., 48, a native and resident of Galliano, La., died at 10:25 a.m. Friday, July 16, 2010.
He is survived by his wife, Karen Mejia; mother, Anna (Hebert) Billiot; sons, Travis and Shane Bruce; brothers Kevin and Kent Billiot; sisters, Marion Griffin, Tammy Trahan and Loquetta Legendre; and two grandchildren, Lennox and Brianna Bruce.
He was preceded in death by his father, Richard Mejia Sr.; two brothers, Marty And Jody Gisclair; and one sister, Dinah Lynn Gisclair.
He is buried at Cheramie Cemetery in Galliano.
In lieu of flowers, donations to help with funeral expenses are preferred.
