Robert “Bobby” J. Gautreaux, 74, a native and resident of Mathews, La. died Sunday, June 24, 2007 at 5:30am.
He is survived by his five daughters, Terry Comardelle and her husband Gary, Grethen Kufel and her husband Gary, Penny Gautreaux, Kim Danos and her husband Jody, and Amanda “Mandy” Truxillo and her husband Warren; one brother, Joseph “Joe” Gautreaux, Jr.; two sisters Louise Larpenter and Margaret “Peggy” Price; twelve grandchildren and two great grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Anna Molaison Gautreaux; one infant son; his parents Joseph Pierre and Agnes LeBoeuf Gautreaux; three brothers, Ivan, Roland, Sr., and Ernest Gautreaux, Sr.; two sisters, Rita Comardelle and Clarisse Brunet.
Robert was a devout Catholic and a parishioner of St. Hilary of Poitiers Catholic Church where he was a member of the Knights of Columbus. Robert loved to fish.
Visitation is Tuesday, June 26, 2007 from 11:00am until 1:30pm, with the funeral to follow at St. Hilary of Poitiers Catholic Church. He will be buried at St. Hilary of Poitiers Catholic Cemetery.
Samart-Mothe Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.
