Robert Dwayne Swan, 40, a native of Terrebonne Parish and a resident of Thibodaux, La. died Saturday, December 15, 2007.
He is survived by his wife, LaDon Swan; four daughters, Racqueshey Swan, Racquel Swan, Tierra Simmons, and Lawrenisha Jones; four sons, Robert Dwayne Swan, Jr., Joshua Swan, Lamont Simmons, and Lawrence Jones; and two brothers, Albert Dwight Swan, Jr. and Wilbert Darnell Swan.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Albert and Florence Swan; five uncles, David, Emmanuel, Ernest, and Alton Swan and Robert “Bobby” Hudson III; his grandparents, Theodore and Julia Swan and Oliver and Beulah Ruffin.
Robert attended Jehovah Witness Kingdom Hall. He enjoyed cooking and entertaining friends.
Visitation is Saturday, December 22, 2007, from 9:00 a.m. until 1:00 p.m., with the funeral to follow at Community Funeral Home in Houma. He will be buried in Woodlawn Cemetery.
Community Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
