Roberta “Mrs. Bert” Jones, 89, a native and resident of Thibodaux, La., died Friday July 20, 2012.
Mrs. Jones was a homemaker.
She is survived by her son, Joseph Jr. (Jessie) Jones; sister, Mary (Horace) Thomas; stepdaughters, Ida (Gray) Griffen and Denise Washington; eight grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Welton Jones; parents, Edward and Gustavia Thomas; sister, Elvira Thomas; and brothers, James and Edward Jr. Thomas.
Burial was at St. Paul Baptist Church Cemetery. (Williams & Southall)
