Rogers Bernard Boudreaux Sr., 76, a native of Golden Meadow, La., and a resident of Chauvin, La., died at 11 a.m. Friday, August 8.


He is survived by four sons, Rogers Boudreaux Jr. of Houma, La., Robert Boudreaux of Chauvin, Cully Boudreaux of Bay City, Tx., and Kim Boudreaux of St. Rose, La.; one daughter, Stacey Molinere of Bourg, La.; his former wife Rosaline Martin of Houma; one brother, Jeffery Boudreaux of Chauvin; one sister, Mildred Plaisance of Houma; 13 grandchildren; and 17 great-grandchildren.


He was preceded in death by his parents, Jefferson Boudreaux and Matilda Naquin Boudreaux; and three sisters, Eulla Bergeron, Belle Picou and Lorine Kimball.

He was a retired, self-employed offshore crew boatman with Ace Marine, Inc. and a Korean War U.S. Army Veteran. He was a parishioner of St. Joseph Catholic Church.

Visitation will be 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Monday, August 11, at the K.C. Hall in Chauvin with mass at 2 p.m. at St. Joseph Catholic Church. He will be buried at the church cemetery.

Chauvin Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.
