Rogers W. “Big Tony” Gray Sr., 86, a resident of Patterson, La., died Thursday, Aug. 20 at his residence.
He is survived by five sons, Rogers W. Gray Jr., Joseph E. Gray Sr., Robert Gray, Ronald Gray and Melvin Gray, all of Patterson; one daughter, Patricia Bennett of Patterson; 16 grandchildren; 29 great-grandchildren; and a host of relatives and friends.
He was a veteran of the United States Army. The East St. Mary Veterans Funeral Squad will perform a military service.
Visitation will be 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. Saturday, Aug. 29, at Jones Funeral Home in Morgan City, La., with the funeral service to follow. Burial will be at Patterson Memorial Cemetery.
Jones Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.
