Roland “Ribbit” Deroche Sr., 65, a native and resident of Houma, La., died Saturday, October 4, at 7:50 a.m.
He is survived by his wife, Barbara Engeron Deroche; sons, Roland Deroche Jr. and Michael Keith and wife Neely; daughter, Lacie Rae Deroche Authement and husband Cody; brother, Robert “Bobby” Deroche; and seven grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Willard C. Sr. and Victoria Geter Deroche; sons, Ronnie and Donnie Deroche; daughter, Roxanna Marie Deroche; and brother, Willard “Charles” Deroche Jr.
Visitation will be 9 a.m. to 11 a.m. Wednesday, October 8, at Samart Funeral Home of Houma with the funeral service to follow. He will be buried at Rogers Cemetery in Houma.
Samart Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.
