T’bonne’s westside expansion progresses for traffic

Rose Mary Swan-Smith, 78, a native of Sorrell, La., and resident of Jeanerette, La., died at 8 p.m. Thursday, Oct. 6, 2011.
She is survived by her sons, Miller Sr., Leroy Sr., Craig Sr., Kevin and Henry Smith; daughters, Brenda August and Paula Smith; 27 grandchildren; 11 great-grandchildren; and a host of relatives and friends.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Henry and Doretha Swan; brother, Walter Swan; and sister, Emily Swan.
Visitation will be 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. Friday, Oct. 14, at First Jerusalem Baptist Church in Jeanerette with services to follow. Burial will be at Sorrell Community Cemetery. (Jones)
