Residents raising a stink brings results on sewage odor

July 28, 2011Rosemarie Anne Piontkowski Herman, 85, a native of Milwaukee, Wis., and resident of Houma, La., died at 2:40 a.m. Sunday, July 24, 2011.
Mrs. Herman was a retired bookkeeper who loved to work with crafts and do puzzles.
She is survived her children, Julia (Earl Jr.) McElroy, Helen (Richard Sr.) Whitney, Henrietta (Glaise Sr.) Chaisson, Gregory (Marie) and Mark Herman; 30 grandchildren; 48 great-grandchildren; and two great-great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Dr. Rudolph Herman; parents, Felix and Helen Piontkowski; sister, Florence Piontkowksi; and great-grandson, Preston Aucoin.
Interment was at Holy Rosary Catholic Church Mausoleum. (Chauvin)
