Ruby Gisclair Guidry, 76, a native of Golden Meadow, La., and a resident of Galliano, La., died at 7 a.m. Sunday, August 24.


She is survived by her husband of 59 years, Early Guidry; one son, Paul P. Guidry; two daughters, June G. Frazier and husband Nolan, and Kathy G. Thompson; one brother, Roy Gisclair; two sisters, Doris Walker and Annie Wiggins; two grandchildren, Jamie Frazier and Catina L. Falgout; and five great-grandchildren, Blake and Nick Falgout and Drew, Ty and Ryan Frazier.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Isaac and Euphaemie Bouzigard Gisclair.


She was a member of the Ladies Altar Society, St. Joseph Choir, Ladies Auxiliary and the Knights of Columbus.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations can be made to the Alzheimer’s Association, 3717 Government St., Suite 7, Alexandria, La. 71302.

She was buried at St. Joseph Catholic Church Cemetery.

Samart-Mothe Funeral Home of Cut Off, La., is in charge of the arrangements.
