Ruby Viola Robinson, 83, a native and resident of Raceland, LA., died Thursday, February 22, 2007.
Visitation will be from 9 a.m. until funeral time Wednesday, February 28, 2007 at Third Zion Baptist Church in Raceland. A religious service will be held at 11 a.m. Wednesday, February 28, 2007 at the Church. Burial will be in the Brooklyn Cemetery in Raceland.
She is survived by four daughters, Ethel Robinson of Thibodaux, LA., Ruby Cameron and Cynthia R. Kraut of Raceland and Diana R. Jones of Harvey, LA.; three sons, Lionel Brown and wife, Renee of Thibodaux; Carl Robinson Sr. and wife, Geraldine and Edward Robinson and wife, Patricia of Brooklyn, New York; she is also survived by eighteen grandchildren, seventeen great grandchildren and two great great grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Arthur Robinson Jr.; parents, Arzelia and John Shelby; three sons, Earl J. Robinson, Leroy Robinson and Charles Robinson; six brothers, Hearld Sr., Earl, Howard, Wilmer, James Sr. and Charles Shelby.
She was Baptist. Her hobbies included cooking.
Kennedy Funeral Home of Raceland is in charge of arrangements.
