Rufus Richard Bell, 60, a native and resident of Donaldsonville, La., died Friday, June 3, 2011.
Mr. Bell was an employee with the Department of Transportation and Development, District 61, Gang 550, and a U.S. Army Vietnam Veteran.
He is survived by his mother, Sylvia Bell; son, Ty (Sandra) Bell; daughters, Natasha Bell and Felicia Rodriguez; sisters, Yvonne Baker, Victoria Bell and Sylvia (Monroe) Williams; brothers, Victor, Rev. Vernell (Deborah) and Ronald Bell; six grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; and a host of aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews other relatives and friends.
He was preceded in death by his father, Victor Bell; maternal grandparents, Rufus and Ardele Collins; paternal grandparents, Eddie and Flora Bell; brother, Clinton Bell; and nephew, Ronell Bell.
Burial was at Emmanuel Baptist Church Cemetery. (Williams & Southall)
