Ruth Pellegrin Wright, 96, a native of Terrebonne Parish, La., and resident of Houma, La., died Monday, Jan. 20, 2014.
Mrs. Wright was a parishioner of St. Francis de Sales Cathedral. She was a member of the Ladies Altar Society and the Terrebonne Historical Society.
She is survived by her sons, Thomas (Harriet) and Richard (Diane) Wright; seven grandchildren; two step-grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; four step-great-grandchildren; and two step-great-great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Robert Wright; son, Robert Wright Jr.; parents, Love and Laura Pellegrin; brothers, Myrden and Terry Pellegrin; and sister, Myrtle Bergeron.
Burial is at St. Francis de Sales Cemetery No. 2. (Chauvin)
