October 23, 2012Shirley Bentley Cleveland, 75, a native and resident of Raceland, La., died Monday, Oct. 1, 2012.
Mrs. Cleveland was a member of Morning Star Baptist Church.
She is survived by her daughters, Beverly Campbell, Stephanie Joseph and Marcel Bentley; sons, Wilbert, Morris and Joshua Bentley; brother Miller West; and several grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Morris Cleveland; parents, Mintz and Ella Bentley; sons, Jonathan and Mark Bentley; daughters, Pepettra Guidroz and Phyllis Barrios; and brothers, Albert and Melvin Bentley.
Burial was at Young Ladies Benevolent Cemetery in Raceland. (Kennedy)
