Sidney Price, 78, a native of Napoleonville, La., and resident of Thibodaux, La., died Thursday, July 15, 2010.
Mr. Price was a member of New Morning Star Baptist Church.
He is survived by his wife, Effie S. Price; daughters, Annette Francis, Stephanie (Joseph) Alexander, Lorna and Debra Price, Gail (Tony) Thomas and Barbara Coxie; stepdaughter, Janet (James) Price; sons, Johnell (Linda) Francis, Sidney Jr. (Diane), Bruce, Albert and Earl (Lisa) Price; stepsons, Larry (Shawn), Carr (Deidra), Billy (Sheila) and Tyrone Francis; sisters, Annette (Norvel) Ivy, Aurelia Stewart, Rosa Lampley, Geraldine Turner and Naomi Bobb; brothers, Leonard, Lawrence and James Price; 45 grandchildren; and 55 great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Willie Sr. and Rosie Price; one daughter, Betty Price; two brothers, Willie Price Jr. and Junious Thompson; two grandchildren, Aeish Jackson and LaQuincy Weatherspoon.
He is buried at New Morning Star Baptist Church Cemetery in Labadieville, La.
