Silas “Popeye” “Snoopy” Dirance Jr., 48, a native of Napoleonville, La., and a resident of Houma, La., died Friday, Aug. 20, 2010.
He is survived by four sisters, Doris and husband, Reginald Williams, Sheila, Linda and Betty Ann Dirance; two brothers, Joseph and Jimmy Dirance; and a host of aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Dorothy and Silas Dirance Sr.. Burial was at Halfway Cemetery in Gray, La.
Williams and Southall Funeral Home of Napoleonville is in charge of arrangements.
