Simon Paul Verdin, 81, a native and resident of Golden Meadow, La., died Saturday, June 14, 2014.
He is survived by his daughters, Rebecca Badeaux and Joette Schouest; stepchildren, Chris, Christine and L.J.; brothers, Ulyssee, George and Jessie Verdin; sisters, Livia Crosby, Tina and Jeanne LeBouef and Anna Delaune; four grandchildren; numerous step-grandchildren; 10 great-grandchildren; and numerous step-great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his companion, Roseamae Serigny; parents, Justlien and Alzire Verdin; brothers, Julian, Morris and Mark Verdin; sisters, Marylee Verdin and Beaulah Billiot; and one grandchild.
Burial is at Cheramie Cemetery. (Falgout)
