February 19, 2014Stacey Eve Schaubhut Dantin, 50, a native of Raceland, La., and resident of Des Allemands, La., died Sunday, Feb. 9, 2014.
Mrs. Dantin was a loving daughter, sister, wife, mother, grandmother and friend. She enjoyed supporting her girls’ playing softball and going to tournaments with them. She also enjoyed taking vacations with family, friends and her grandsons.
She is survived by her husband, Alvin Dantin III; parents, Steve and Beverly Schaubhut; daughters, Jamie (Bernard III) Mayeux, Jerri (Alben III) Cooper and Jodie Dantin; brother, Keith (Shanna) Schaubhut; sisters, Dawn (Roddy) Theriot, Denise and Trisha Schaubhut and Becky (Jeff) Parks; and five grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her grandparents, Mikey and Mabel Schaubhut.
Visitation will be 3:30 to 7 p.m. Sunday, Feb. 16, at Life Fellowship Church in Bayou Gauche, La., with services to follow. (Samart-Mothe)
