Stanley Erwin

Stanley L. Erwin, 82, a native of Fort Wayne, Ind., and resident of Thibodaux, LA., died Saturday, March 3, 2007.

Visitation will be from 6 to 9 p.m. today and from 8 a.m. to funeral time Wednesday at Thibodaux Funeral Home. Service will be at 10 a.m. Wednesday at the funeral home, with burial in Dyess Cemetery in Loxley, Ala.

He is survived by three sons, George, S. Edward and Jerry Erwin; one daughter, Cynthia P. Shafer; two brothers, Charles and Gene Erwin; two sisters, Phyllis Lytle and Georgie Jarrett; 13 grandchildren; and 19 great-grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Evelyn Elizabeth Erwin; his parents, George Russell Erwin and Blanche Favourite Erwin; one brother Lyle Erwin; and one sister, Virginia Witte.

Thibodaux Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
