Steve Bruno Fillinich, 70, a native of Golden Meadow, LA. and resident of Galliano, LA., died at 10:42 p.m. Sunday, March 11, 2007.
Visitation will be from 8:30 a.m. to funeral time Wednesday at Samart-Mothe Funeral Home in Cut Off, LA. Mass will be at 11 a.m. Wednesday at St. Joseph Catholic Church in Galliano, with burial in Cheramie Cemetery.
He is survived by his wife, Mary Gisclair Fillinich; three sons, Lane Fillinich and wife, Paige, Lance Fillinich and wife, Tori, and Cory Fillinich; two daughters, Anita Hebert and husband, Murray, and Tammy Matherne and husband, Perry; daughter-in-law, Christie Bruce; two brothers, Jack Fillinich and Dick Fillinich Sr.; 15 grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Anthony and Ada Griffin Fillinich; two granddaughters, Sandra Hebert and Carly Fillinich; and one sister, Thelma Lynch.
He enjoyed spending time with his wife, his children, and his grandchildren.
He was Catholic.
Samart-Mothe Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
