Steven Wayne McCoy, 53, a resident of Houma, La., died Dec. 8, 2015.

Mr. McCoy was a member of First Baptist Church of Houma. He was employed by Transamerica Insurance Co. and was owner of M&M Provisions. He was an entrepreneur, the original owner of B.O.E. (Best of Everything) and Stuff-n-Storage. He had a passion for cooking. He had a special gift of seeing those in need and was always willing to give. He will be remembered for his one-liners.


He is survived by his wife, Angela McCoy; son, Ian; daughter, Jena; parents, George and Janet McCoy; brothers, George Jr. (Cindy) and Greg (Joyce Licciard) McCoy; sister-in-law, Connie (Joe) Thibodaux, and brothers-in-law Nelson (Richele) Duplantis Jr. and Joey (Scott Gentry) Duplantis.

Burial is at St. Francis de Sales Cemetery No. 2.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to First Baptist Church of Houma.
