Thomas “Tommy” Sidney Michel, 61, a native of Houma, La., and a resident of Wisner, died Tuesday, July 21, at 8 p.m.
He is survived by his wife, Sandra Michel; one son, Matthew Michel and fiance’ Brandy Savage; one daughter, Mickey Michel Duhon and husband Sidney; one stepson, Jacob Carmen; two stepdaughters, Kimberly Stewart and husband Aaron, and Jesica Lynn Carmen; one brother, Daniel Michel; one sister, Paulette Guion; one granddaughter, Meaghan Dumesnil; and six step-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Nolan and Evelyn Breaux Michel.
He was an avid musician, a boat captain and the former owner of Marsh Equipment Company.
Visitation will be 5 p.m. to 8 p.m. Thursday, July 23, and 8 a.m. to 1 p.m. Friday, July 24, at Chauvin Funeral Home. The funeral service will be at 1 p.m. Friday at the funeral home with burial at Garden of Memories Cemetery in Gray, La.
