Toby Matthews Daisy

Toby Matthews Daisy, 34, a native of Houma, La., and a resident of Thibodaux, La., died on Wednesday, Dec. 2, 2009.

He is survived by his parents, Walton “Buddy” and Shirley DeHart Daisy; sisters, Shantele (David Jr.) Songe and Tabatha (James) Pitre; brother, Jefferson (fiancée Vickie Tabler) Daisy; four nieces; six nieces; and one great-niece.

He is preceded in death by his brother, Dan Daisy; grandfathers, Morris “Myse) DeHart Sr. and Walter Daisy Sr.; grandmothers, Adeline DeHart and Delia “MawMaw Dee” Daisy; uncle, James Daisy; cousin, Dwight Daisy; and aunt, Maria Daisy DeHart.

Mr. Daisy was the manager of Buddy’s Seafood. He is a member of St. Andrews Episcopal Church, and a 1994 graduate of Terrebonne High School. He attended Louisiana State University and was a loyal Tiger fan.

Visitation will be held Thursday, Dec. 3, from 3 to 10 p.m., and Friday, Dec. 4, from 8 a.m. until service time, at Chauvin Funeral Home.

Funeral services will be held at 1 p.m. Friday, Dec. 4, at 1 p.m., at St. Matthews Episcopal Church. He will be buried at Terrebonne Memorial Park.
