Uric “T-Ric” Dufrene III, 69, a native of Lafourche Parish, La., and a resident of Mathews, La., died Sunday, February 8, at 3:05 p.m.
He is survived by his wife, Barbara Breaux Dufrene; sons, Mark Dufrene and wife Dayna, and Dr. Uric Dufrene IV and wife Suzette; daughters, Carolyn “Cat” Gaudet and husband Philip, Marilyn “Mat” Champagne and husband Joey, and Dawn Dufrene; sister, Alice Dempster; grandchildren, Stacie Adams, Celeste Champagne, Philip Gaudet II, Tommy Gaudet and Kayla Dufrene; and step-grandchildren, Hope Simpson, Beau Simpson and Kyle Rogers.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Uric Dufrene Jr. and Juliette St. Pierre Dufrene; and sister, Tessie Dufrene.
He was a parishioner of St. Hilary Catholic Church in Mathews.
Visitation will be 6 p.m. to 10 p.m. Tuesday, February 10, at Falgout Funeral Home in Raceland, La., and 8 a.m. to 11 a.m. Wednesday, February 11, at St. Hilary Catholic Church. Mass will be at 11 a.m. Wednesday at the church with burial at St. Charles Borromeo Cemetery.
Falgout Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.
