Viola “Tante Vie” Chaisson Guidroz, 97, a native and resident of Larose, La., died Tuesday, March 17, at 5:20 a.m.
She is survived by her son, Felix Theodore Guidroz Jr. and wife Ann; daughter, Helen St. Pierre and husband George; grandchildren, Jordan St. Pierre, Tim St. Pierre, Georgia S. Diaz, Randy Guidroz, Troy Guidroz and Debbie Guidroz; great-grandchildren, Ryan St. Pierre, Travis St. Pierre, Marissa Diaz, Andrew Diaz, Amanda St. Pierre and Thomas St. Pierre; and great-great-grandchildren, Samuel St. Pierre and Benjamin St. Pierre.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Felix Theodore Guidroz Sr.; parents, Adam Chiasson and Corine Thomassie Chiasson; brothers, Terry, Jim and Luke Chiasson; and sister, Ora Danos.
She was Catholic.
Burial was at Our Lady of the Rosary Catholic Church Cemetery in Larose.
Samart-Mothe Funeral Home of Cut Off, La., is in charge of the arrangements.
