Vivian Dufrene Baudoin, 89, died Friday, July 16, 2010.


Mrs. Baudoin was a kindergarten teacher at Immaculate Conception School for 36 years. After retiring from there, she became a substitute teacher for Jefferson Parish schools. She was also a CCD teacher for Immaculate Conception School.

She is survived by her son, Henry Dufriend; three grandchildren, Henry (Danelle) Dufriend Jr., Shay (Larry Jr.) Chedotal and Kristine Madona Bridges; four great-grandchildren, Brittany and Ryan Chedotal, Alec Dufriend and Kaley Bridges; and one great-great-grandchild, Tristan Chedotal.


She was preceded in death by her husband, Nolan Baudoin; parents, Henry and Leonise Champagne Dufrene; six brothers; and seven sisters.

She is buried at St. Mary Cemetery in Raceland.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to St. Mary Nativity School in Raceland.
