Vivian Orgeron LeBlanc, 80, a native and resident of Lockport, LA., died at 1:01 a.m. Wednesday, February 21, 2007.
Visitation will be from 8:30 a.m. to funeral time today at Holy Savior Catholic Church in Lockport. Mass will be at 10:30 a.m. today at the church, with burial in the church cemetery.
She is survived by her husband of 61 years, Eunice “Nis” J. LeBlanc; two daughters, Beryl L. Rivet and Brenda L. McClintock and husband, Daniel; four grandchildren, Paula McWhorter, Sheila Chiasson, Dana Morvant and Nicole Rivera; and four great-grandchildren, Lonnie Chiasson Jr., Brady Morvant, Brooke Morvant and Valerie Rivera.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Sidney Joseph and Ernestine Josephine Guidroz Orgeron; and two brothers, Norris Orgeron and Milton Orgeron.
She was a homemaker and a member of the American Legion Ladies Auxiliary, the VFW Ladies Auxiliary, and she loved cooking.
She was a parishioner of Holy Savior Catholic Church.
