June 29, 2011Vivian Marie Truxillo, 98, a native and resident of Assumption Parish, La., died Saturday, June 25, 2011.
Ms. Truxillo was a school teacher for 32 years in Assumption Parish and Belle Rose, La.
She is survived by one niece; five nephews; two great-nieces; three great-nephews; and three godchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Thomas and Emily Truxillo; sisters, Mildred Blanchard and Emily Sentilles; stepsisters, Margaret Truxillo and Minerva Rodrigue; and stepbrother, Gabriel Truxillo.
The family would like to give a special thanks to the staff and administration of Heritage Manor of Napoleonville, La.
Visitation will be 8:30 a.m. to 11 a.m. Tuesday, June 28, at Assumption Catholic Church in Plattenville, La., with mass to follow. Burial will be at the church cemetery. (Landry’s)
