$13.6M in rec improvements unveiled in Thibodaux
November 1, 2011Werlien Joseph Prosperie Jr., 44, a native and resident of Houma, La., died at 8:18 p.m. Sunday, Oct. 30, 2011.
Mr. Prosperie was a parishioner of St. Francis de Sales Cathedral. He worked for Cameron Valve Control.
He is survived by his father, Werlien Prosperie Sr.; sons, Werlien III and Nekola Prosperie; daughter, Felicity Prosperie; brother, Nick (Peggy) Prosperie; and sisters, Sonia McNamara and Denise Fritch.
He was preceded in death by his mother, Beverly Dempsey; and grandparents, Florence and Nicholas Prosperie and Simon Sr. and Lena Brunet.
Visitation will be 5 p.m. to 9 p.m. Friday, Nov. 4, at Chauvin Funeral Home and 9:30 a.m. to 11:30 a.m. Saturday, Nov. 5, at St. Francis de Sales Cathedral with Mass of Christian Burial to follow. Burial will be at St. Francis de Sales Cemetery #2. (Chauvin)
