Wilbert Alvin Lange, 79, a resident of Berwick, La., died Thursday, Nov. 8, 2012.
Mr. Lange founded Lange Towing in 1967 and spent most of his life on the water. He enjoyed spending time with his family and was a devoted husband and father. He worked hard and instilled strong family values in his two sons and daughter. He taught them never to take anything for granted and to earn what you want in life.
He is survived by his wife, Carrie Lange; sons, George (Daisy) and Bud (Debra) Lange; daughter, Josie (Lawrence) Lombas; sister, Lou (Ken) Bogan; nine grandchildren; 21 great-grandchildren; and one great-great-grandchild.
Entombment was at Morgan City Mausoleum. (Twin City)
