Alice Therese Ellender Landry, 74, a native of Houma, La., and resident of Montegut, La., died Monday, Nov. 12, 2012.


Mrs. Landry was a member of Vision Christian Center. She was a pianist, organist and Sunday school teacher at Live Oak Baptist Church for many years and foster grandparent at Upper Little Caillou Elementary for seven years. She was loved by many and will be greatly missed.


She is survived by her daughters, Melanie (Rick) Tabor, Tina (Mike) Songe and Kathy (Al) LeBoeuf; son, Lester Jr. (Gaynell) Landry; sister, Mary Chaisson; 12 grandchildren; and 19 great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Lester Landry; daughter, Kim Landry; and parents, George and Melanie Ellender.

Visitation will be 3 to 9 p.m. Thursday, Nov. 15, 8 a.m. to 12 p.m. Friday, Nov. 16, at Vision Christian Center with services to follow. Burial is at Bisland Cemetery. (Chauvin)
