Wilbert LeBlanc, 81, a native of Napoleonville, La., and resident of Belle Rose, La., died Wednesday, Aug. 17, 2011.

Mr. LeBlanc was a retired employee of Napoleonville Lumberyard, Inc. and a member of Usher Board II.


He is survived by his children, Wilbert (Vanessa) and Eldridge Johnson and Darrin (Essie) and Stacy (Tonya) LeBlanc; stepchildren, Williard Patterson Jr., Lesonna Truxillo and Darnella Williams; brother, Andrew (Verna) LeBlanc; 10 grandchildren; and a host of great-grandchildren, aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Williana LeBlanc; parents, Idella Smith and Adolph Shine; brothers, Leslie Shine and Alvin LeBlanc; and sister, Mary LeBlanc.

Burial was at First Israel Baptist Church in Belle Rose. (Williams and Southall)
