William Andrew Minton III, 73, a native of Selma, Ala., and resident of Thibodaux, La., died at 5:20 p.m. Thursday, May 19, 2011.
He is survived by his wife, Ann Guy Minton; sons, William, Charles (Maxine) and Tommy (Marie) Minton; daughter, Missy Waters; sisters, Charlotte Allman, Jane Forshey and Teresa Strichik; 10 grandchildren; and one great-grandchild.
He was preceded in death by his parents, William Jr. and Thelma Crumpton Minton; and one grandchild, Charlie Minton.

He is buried at St. Joseph Cemetery. (Thibodaux)
