Willie Joseph Jr., 81, a native of Napoleonville, La., and resident of Thibodaux, La., died Wednesday, Feb. 19, 2014.
Mr. Joseph was a U.S. Army veteran. He retired from the U.S. Post Office after 30 years of service.
He is survived by his sisters, Jerry (James) Granger and Rose Avery; devoted friend, Phillip Avery; and numerous nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Willie Sr. and Mable Joseph; sisters, Lillie Mae Barrio and Lillie Rose and Betty Joseph; and brothers, Raymond Sr. and Chester Joseph.
Visitation will be 9 to 11 a.m. Saturday, March 1, at Morning Star Baptist Church with services to follow. Burial will be at the church cemetery. (Williams & Southall)
