Willie Mae Dyer White, 53, a native and resident of Thibodaux, La., died Monday, March 16.


She is survived by her father, Walter Dyer Sr. of Thibodaux; sons, Edmond Dyer and Talance White Sr. and wife Terrika of Houma, La., and Tyrone White Jr. of Baton Rouge, La.; brothers, Timothy Dyer and wife Rena of Houma, Walter Dyer Jr. and Bradford Dyer and wife Donna of Thibodaux; sisters, Norma Harkless and husband Dilton of New Orleans, La., Paulette Williams of Thibodaux, Claudette Pearson and husband Edward of North Carolina, Maggie Dyer and Daphne Dyer of Johnson Ridge and Pamela Dyer of Baton Rouge.


She was preceded in death by her mother, Bernice Dyer; and grandparents, Alfred Harris and Mildred Francois.

She was Baptist. Her hobbies included bowling.

Visitation will be 9 a.m. to 11 a.m. Saturday, March 21, at Morning Star Baptist Church on Brule Road in Thibodaux. A religious service will be at 11 a.m. at the church with burial at the church cemetery.

Kennedy Funeral Home of Raceland, La., is in charge of the arrangements.
