Yvonne J. Badeaux, 83, a native of New Orleans, LA. and a resident of Houma, LA., died at 4:05 a.m. Sunday, January 28, 2007.

Visitation will be from 1 p.m. to funeral time Friday at Chauvin Funeral Home. Memorial service will be at 2 p.m. Friday at the funeral home chapel.


She is survived by one son, Charles A. Badeaux of Slidell, LA.; one sister, Audrey E. Lukas of Diamondhead, Miss.; three grandchildren, Byron Badeaux, Corey Badeaux and Brandolyn Tessier; four great-grandchildren; and her caregiver and dear and loving friend, Sherrie Lochner of Houma.


She was preceded in death by her husband, Charles R. Badeaux; her parents, Emile C. Juncker and Antoinette Remme Juncker; and two brothers, Merlyn E. Juncker and Ronald R. Juncker.

She was a homemaker and served with the USO during World War II and the American Red Cross.

She was a member of Grace Lutheran Church.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations can be made to the American Lung Association, 2325 Severn Ave., New Orleans, LA 70001.

The family would like to thank Pastor Kelly Bedard for spiritual support and also Gulf States LTAC for their compassionate and loving care to Yvonne.
