Yvonne Marie Vinet Cheramie, 45, a native of New Orleans, La., and resident of Houma, La., died Monday, October 1, 2007, at 12:20 p.m.
She is survived by her husband, Kurt Joseph Cheramie; her parents, Edward and Gwendolyn Gonzalez Vinet; one son, Cory Cheramie; one daughter, Jenna Cheramie; and two sisters, Evelyn V. Cortazzo and Yvette V. Williams.
Yvonne was a devout Catholic and a parishioner of St. Bernadette Catholic Church in Houma. She was a registered nurse at Leonard J. Chabert Medical Center.
Visitation is Wednesday, October 3, 2007, from 6:00 p.m. until 10:00 p.m. and Thursday, October 4, 2007, from 9:00 a.m. until 10:00 a.m., with the funeral to follow at Chauvin Funeral Home in Houma. She will be buried in St. Francis de Sales Cemetery No. 2.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations can be made to St. Matthew’s Episcopal School.
Chauvin Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.
